In 2019 we created a marvellous duett of two extraordinary menus. A large menu with brass inlay for food and this bar menu here. A Japenese bound menu with a 4 mm thick hardcover, bound in fine black book cloth and hot foil embossed in gold with the venue's logo. With two different paper colours and the use of french folds as "chapter markers", we made navigating the menu quick and easy. Since stronger spirits are usually consumed late at night, we chose to print them in white on black for the added contrast needed at the later hours. A set of 45 menus was handcrafted in our very own workshop. A simple yet sophisticated menu, combining different methods, materials and techniques, just like the bar it was designed for.
