Tobi das Imsel

Likely the world's first children's book, which was fully illustrated on iPad.

Tobi the Imsel was one of a handful of books we produced and published between 2013 and 2015 under my back then publishing startup "Dandy Books". It was one of the first children's books to be fully illustrated on the iPad, long before the Apple Pencil. With carefully developed character designs, lovingly made illustrations, a catching cover and even its own children's song, Tobi the Imsel is a book we'll all cherish for the rest of our lives.

The last books we had in stock were donated to Gaming Aid E.V., where the amazing Svenja Bhatty sent them on their way to children around the world who are battling cancer. This book was collaboratively created with Illustrator Julian Nitsche.
